The Drought

Oh, the humanity! I have been without my cd player since Sunday and am going through serious withdrawal. Right now, the guy beside me has his headphones blasting tunes and I am so tempted to stick my ear up against them to hear aswell...I'm so pathetic. Just two more sleeps until D-Day...I have a presentation that I'm doing with a friend on apartheid. Are we ready? Um, not really...this is a direct result of the fact that our presentation was moved up a week, so we lost all that extra time...but you know what? We'll do it anyway, and we'll be amazing. My stress level is really amazing right now. I'm aiming to finish essay #1 on Friday, and essay #2 on Sunday, which may be possible. If I succeed, then I shall have only one more essay this semester. My heart will be glad. YAY ME! I'm training a new guy at work tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. It'll be interesting to say the least. He seems interesting, so ha-ha! However, he does own an x-box and an x-box 360...neither fact bodes well for him. I have began to play Suikoden II for about the bijillionth time because some guy came into the store and told me about a bunch of things I didn't know...thank goodness for random, but ever so helpful, facts. Aside from that, just waiting for Karen (it's my Karen and Marcella day) and for all the goodness that comes later with the working on a project. Oh, side note. Read and watched the Virgin Suicides this weekend. Not all it's cracked up to be...kinda boring. That's all I guess. But I had a totally random dream last night where I had just gotten a kitten, had to take in a dog (couldn't tell if it was Rocky or Jordy) and had to save the world from a magical epidemic with the help of Harry Potter. Yeah, and I don't even know what caused it...hmm. More strangeness yet to come.
