Tired and Grumpy

It is the final week of classes. I have one 8 page paper, 1 exam and 1 group presentation/play left to do in my university career and I am done. This should probably be really really exciting for me, or something, but right now, I am so disillusioned that I just don't care. I want to sleep. Even after school finishes, it looks like I won't be getting much of that due to my work schedule. Don't get me wrong. I love work. But I also love slumber, and dream land, and the happy little scenarios that comes along with it. Then there's the whole thing about not having a job. That is a little unnerving. Well, I have a job. But not one that "pays you what you are now worth" (that's my dad's voice over, by the by...and pretty much a direct quote. He has a way with words, doesn't he?). Aside from that, I'm freaking out now that I'm co-directing a play that hasn't had any rehearsal time (thanks, Snow Day) and must be performed on Monday. Sunday night run through anyone? ARGH! And the saddest part is I can't be bitter towards the Snow Day, as it was a great day of taking a breather. Rest, relaxation and RPG-ing. I day of bliss that I haven't had in a while and won't have for some time yet to come. Also, my mom was the one to tell me, which took me back to my days in high school when she would tell me that I didn't have to get up that day. That was nice. Next week Chawn is coming down for a few days. I'm really pumped to see her (maybe I'll some sleep before then so I won't be grumpy Caitlin...HAH!) This also means that our little kitties are going to be sans gender by Saturday (snip snip). About time too. Maybe they'll stop being so rowdy at night and I'll be able to get some sleep. Probably not, with the way my day/week/month/year/life is going. Wow, this turned out to be a really optomistic entry. Way to go me. On a new note, I'm starting to understand Tyrel's obsession with knives. They are like Lays...I bet you can't own just one. Seriously, you buy one, and then you're like "but that one's cool too...and that one will look awesome with my white sweater". I kid you not. My lastest idea of accessories is knives. I mean if guys can accessorize with diamonds, why can't girls with sharp shiny things? I think it's only fair. So there you have it. Have a good one all...if you don't, I'll cut you. Just kidding. Or am I? More strangeness yet to come.

You can do it Caitlin! Don't worry, one day soon someone will realize what you are worth (an employer that is). Unfortunately, there aren't many positions that pay a bizzillion dollars, so for now you will just have to settle on one that gets the rent paid. Jamie believes in you! (ps...when is your convocation going to be?? This is very important for me to know....)

The whole job situation is really tough. Just get yourself and your resume out there and don't get discouraged if you don't get a call/email back the first few times. You can do it!
