Back In Van

Hey y'all. A bit of the hick still in me, although I have once again returned to the sprawling urban center that is Van. Just readjusting, and trying to win my kitty over. I smelt like my cat from the puddle, so Cloud decided to bite me every time he saw me...gentle bites, not I want to tear you limb from limb...it was kinda cute. Got my last paycheck today. No more EB Games for me. YAY! That makes my heart glad a little. So now I'm just sitting here, drinking my Coke with Lime (God is it just me or is this blog turning into a product placement thingy?) and finishing up arranging a game of football for tonight. Should be fun. So now, I'm gonna just chill for the rest of the day...play some PLAYSTATION 2 and watch some BUFFY and maybe read some SHOJOBEAT, (a comic for those who don't know). Sorry I couldn't resist a few more product placements...it just seemed right. And I shall now wait for my cheque. More strangeness yet to come.

Home

Ah, vacation. That blissful event that happens rarely throughout the course of the year. And I am now basking in it. That's right...basking. I am here in the puddle of William, enjoying the not so great weather, and just relaxing. Watching movies with my folks, doing puzzles, and the ever so important reading of the manga. Le sigh. Too much manga right now...my brain is slightly rotted, like that hasn't happened already. Aside from that, it's just the usual. Visiting family and friends, and Chawn? Yes, I travel all the way from Vancouver just to get to hang out with my roommate. Isn't that fun? Oh, and I also got the Sailor Moon I was hoping for. Go ahead people. Mock me, it is your right and I have set it up so perfectly for you. Now I must away, and leave all of you wanting more...that's always the golden trick, isn't it? Does that make me a golden trickster? Ponder that. More strangeness yet to come.

Rip-Off, Anyone?

Ok, so today's blog is dedicated to the rip-off that is taxes. After paying PST and GST, and putting thousands (not technically mine, I suppose) into school, paying interest on Student Loans, and having the government skimming off of the top of my paycheck (which is already pitiful enough to begin with) I have ended up with a return worth just under $200. Guess who's pissed? Um, yes, that would be me. I have nothing more to say...too much anger about this subject, so I needed to vent to the blogger world. I hate taxes. More strangeness yet to come.
